Nearly three hundred former world leaders, top economists and education experts are warning the world of a ‘COVID generation’ with millions of children who have not received a good education. This group will therefore only be able to survive by going to work young or getting married hastily.
“We cannot allow these young people to be deprived of their education and a fair chance at life,” write the 275 former world leaders, top economists and education experts in an open letter to the G20, the forum of the world’s nineteen major economies and the EU.
That is why, at the end of 2020, KW started the ‘Bridging project’. Thanks to the help of the WM de Hoop foundation, we have collected 9,000 euros and will help about 16 parents in ‘corona time’ (no income as a result) to keep their children in school.
